Lovely hotel. Perfect location. Warm friendly welcome. New carpeting in all common areas including stairs, so obviously management have listened to previous comments. Our room was newly decorated, with new modern bathroom. Very comfy bed. Fridge, kettle and tea/coffee provided. Balcony was a real suntrap. We had a great stay and will definitely stay here again.
The location of this hotel is quite good and walkable to most places in Hastings. Indeed the infrastructure is rusty, but its pricing compared to other hotels I am happy for what I got. The staff were friendly. Check-in and check out was very smooth. I think the room was clean enough and it even had a balcony. The soundproof is not good but during night time it's quiet. I have a good sleep there and the bed was okay too.
Stayed here for an overnight trip to see a show in Hastings town, with a single en-suite room and twin en-suite room for my aunt and sister booked. Welcomed by a friendly host who was very informative. AMAZING view from the room, and the room was simple but had everything I needed. Generous hospitality tray, nice decor, and even had a balcony. The mattress was a bit soft for me but I still had a great night’s sleep, and you really can’t beat what you get for the price in terms of view, location (a few minutes from town centre/seafront) and overall quality of room. It’s an old building, so yes there are stairs, but this was all explained to us and we were even offered room swaps. Host gave us a nice goodbye after, and I will absolutely stay here again next time I come to Hastings!

Arrived last minute at this hotel after being scammed by a non existent air bnb booking and they were very helpful in finding me a room. I had a double room on the top floor - great views across the coast and room was very spacious. Hotel is on the main promenade making it easy to get to and from. It is definitely in need of some updates and the lack of a lift is a pain but staff were extremely nice and accommodating and flexible. Breakfast was also really nice ( Extra Cost ) and it was freshly prepared for each guest. Windows open to provide fresh air and there was a standing fan to cool things down when it for too hot.
Very friendly owners and staff, great welcome and brilliant customer service. Rooms are very clean, spacious and great views. Perfect all round. Highly Recommend!
Was really surprised at this hotel, the room was lovely, spacious, had an amazing sea view. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean on arrival. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Only stayed for one night but we will definitely be back!
Given the extremely reasonable price, I was impressed. The room was well-furnished, clean, tidy, quiet, cool and comfortable. The location is superb, too. Staff members Aggie and Lottie were very efficient, accommodating and friendly.
